What koalas eat
Koala's are amazing, one fact about them is why they are so slow, they are slow cause every single day they eat a lot of eucalyptus leaves like in this picture. And in those leaves is poison. So all through the day while they are sleeping there tummies take away all the poison so now you know why they are always so slow and sleeping.
What they are
Koalas are marsupials a marsupial is a mammal of an order whose members are born incompletely developed and are typically carried and suckled in a pouch on the mother's belly. Marsupials are found mainly in Australia and New Guinea, although three families, including opossums, live in America.
Where koalas live
Koalas live in the southern parts of Australia are considerably larger and have thicker fur than those in the north. This is thought to be an adaptation to keep them warm in the colder southern winters. Each koala’s ‘home' is made up of several trees called HOME TREES. They visit these same trees regularly.
