Penguins are amazing animals but they are not mammals they are birds that are flightless, they are birds cause they have wings but for some reason no feathers. .And they also lay eggs, and they walk very oddly and mostly do not run. Also another fact is that penguins huddle together with there family in a group of three almost like in this picture. Also penguins that are little chicks are actually nice, soft and furry.

Penguins eat fish, squid and krill emperor and king penguins mainly eat fishes and squids colony of 5 million Adélie penguins may eat nearly 8 million kg (17.6 million lb.) of krill and small fishes daily. Penguins catch prey with their bills and swallow it whole while swimming. A penguin has a spiny tongue and powerful jaws to grip slippery prey. Penguins walk and toboggan from feeding grounds to rookeries. When fishing grounds are far away, penguins will feed in seal holes and other openings in the ice.

And blizzards of 200 km/h (124 mph). It is also the only animal to inhabit the open ice of Antarctica during the winter.Emperor penguins spend their entire lives on the ice or in the surrounding waters of Antarctica.

The leopard seal is the main predator of Adélie penguins at sea. The seals swim around the edges of the ice waiting for penguins to dive in. Sometimes they hide under the overlap of ice. Often penguins hold back until one finally is brave enough to enter the water then others follow. Another enemy are sharks and orcas.
